100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund Application

Partners of the Americas (Partners), the U.S. Department of State (DOS) and NAFSA: Association of International Educators are pleased to announce new grant competitions as part of 100,000 Strong in the Americas, the signature education initiative in the Western Hemisphere designed to foster region-wide prosperity through greater international exchange of students.
Competition #14:  Promoting Study Abroad in Aeronautics, Agroindustry, Automotive Industry, Energy, and ICT

Competition #14 is made possible through a generous contribution from  Fundación Televisa. All higher education institutions (HEIs) in the United States and technological institutes that are part of the Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM) in Mexico that promote study abroad programs in the fields of Aeronautics, Agroindustry, Automotive Industry, Energy, and Information & Communications Technology (ICT), with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and innovation, are eligible to compete. Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM) is the largest higher education institution network in Mexico. It offers undergraduate and graduate university programs focused on professional training in technology. Click here for a directory of TecNM institutes.

Competition #15: Nexo Global Colombia

Competition #15 is made possible through a generous contribution from Colombia's Department of Science, Technology and Innovation - COLCIENCIAS, the City of Medellin's Higher Education Agency, Sapiencia, with support from the U.S. Department of State. All higher education institutions (HEIs) in Colombia and the United States that promote study abroad and research in the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Agricultural Sciences, and Social Sciences with a focus on post-conflict resolution and peace building are eligible to compete.

Competition #16 is made possible through generous contributions from NAFSA: Association of International Educators and CAF: the Development Bank of Latin AmericaAll higher education institutions (HEIs) in the United States, Antigua & Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and Trinidad & Tobago that promote study abroad in any field of study are eligible to compete.
