Presenter Bio: E. David Luria is a Washington DC-based instructor of photography specializing in architecture, travel, art/still life. restaurant/ food, editorial/event, commercial, and landmark photography. A member of the American Society of Media Photographers, Mr. Luria has had his images appear in over 100 publications, including TIME, Travel and Leisure, NOW Magazine, Prevention, Italian Cooking and Dining, and Cuccina Italiana, in the Washington Post, the Hamburger Abendblatt, Tokyo’s Ashai Shinbun, and the US Capitol Historical Society. Mr. Luria has photographed for the National Cherry Blossom Festival, Studio Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre, Encore Creativity, DC Veterans for Statehood and the US Marine Band, and he has also been a Contributing Photographer to WHERE-Washington Magazine, the Entertainment Book, the Gray Line, and the Washington Post’s “Apartment Showcase”. His images appear in coffee- table gift books entitled Washington DC Visions, by Austin Kiplinger and in “North American Churches: from Chapels to Cathedrals,” authored by Dr. Marilyn Chiot., and he has photographed 3,000+ apartment buildings, restaurants & hotels in the DC area.
