Description of the Opportunity

The Education and Culture Program aims to bridge the capacities and networks of volunteers, civic and community leaders, NGOs, educators, social entrepreneurs, and professionals in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean to serve as change agents in their communities and allows participants to share best practices, design community solutions, and build long-lasting relationships. Since 1983, the Education and Culture Program has been funded by the U.S. Department of State and implemented by Partners of the Americas.

Through Education and Culture Group Exchange Facilitation Funding, Partners of the Americas aims to partner with Chapter and premium organizational members to create exchange opportunities for engaged community members aged 18 and above from across the Western Hemisphere to build their networks, bridge their capacities between each other and home/host communities, and empower them as change agents, professionals, and global citizens.

Applicants for this round will apply to promote the following the programmatic themes, in line with U.S. strategic foreign policy and U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ objectives:
