Christian Eric Stalberg is a seasoned professional with a diverse career spanning technology, environmental design, and disaster management. He has served as a Fulbright Specialist, teaching ecological design and building energy modeling, including a five-week program in 2022 at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and a one-month course in 2017 at Universidad Mayor de San Simon in Cochabamba, Bolivia. His early career included roles as a Business Systems Analyst at Nortel Networks (1998), where he optimized Intranet technology, and as an Independent Consultant (1982–1995) for clients like the State of Florida and Apple Computer Corporation. He also worked as a Disaster Assistance Employee/Hazard Mitigation Specialist for FEMA (1991–1994), contributing to post-disaster recovery efforts. Stalberg has extensive experience in systems administration, web development, and project management, notably with Diversified Network Applications (1995–2001), managing a web hosting business with 250 international clients.
