Empowering Youth: Art as a Catalyst for Social Change in San Salvador

Participación social juvenil por medio del arte (The Youth Social Participation through Art)


Implemented by the El Salvador Chapter, the Youth Social Participation through Art project supported urban art through the teaching of drawing, painting, percussion and batucada, theater, and animation, for low-income youth and adolescents from communities with a high rate of violence, in the Municipality of Soyapango, San Salvador. In partnership with 2 organizations and through 21 workshops, they reached 120 beneficiaries.
