Partners of the Americas been committed to fostering partnerships, volunteerism, and locally led development across the Americas. Our mission has thrived because of unwavering support and dedication from members like you.

Over the years, our organization has grown, allowing us to engage with more individuals and communities throughout the Americas, fostering deeper connections and creating lasting impact. To continue delivering on our mission effectively, we must adapt to the evolving needs and demands of our network.

Considering this, the International Board of Directors has approved introducing new individual membership dues beginning October 1, 2024. While this may represent a change from our previous model, we want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly and is rooted in our commitment to transparency and sustainability.

Key Reasons

Here are the key reasons behind this decision:

• Sustaining Our Impact: As we expand our programs and reach, the financial demands on our organization have increased. Introducing membership dues will help ensure that we have the necessary resources to sustain and even expand the positive impact we make in communities across the Americas.
• Enhancing Member Benefits: We are dedicated to giving our members valuable personal and professional growth opportunities. With the introduction of dues, we will be able to offer enhanced benefits, including exclusive access to webinars, networking events, and skills-building workshops, designed to help you thrive personally and professionally.
• Financial Transparency: We want to be transparent about our financial needs and operations. By introducing dues, we can better allocate resources, maintain financial stability, and be accountable to our members, donors, and partners.
• Supporting Our Network: Your commitment through membership dues will directly support the initiatives, projects, and activities that are at the core of Partners of the Americas' mission. By joining as a dues-paying member, you become an even more integral part of our network and contribute to its continued success.

Changes Starting October 1, 2024

This adjustment will introduce a variation between regular rates and countries eligible for reduced fees. We are pleased to offer this and provide more equitable access to our members. Under this new fee structure, there will be a slight increase in membership dues each year until 2026.

Partners of the Americas has always been a community of dedicated individuals working towards a common goal. By introducing these new individual membership dues, we believe we are taking a step forward in strengthening our collective impact and ensuring our organization's sustainability for years to come.

Chapter Members

As a valued member of one of our Chapters, your membership will now also extend to Partners of the Americas. This collaboration will provide you with even more opportunities to connect, learn, and engage with a wider network of individuals dedicated to fostering positive change in the Americas. Your Chapter has been provided with licenses to provide to its members. Please contact your Chapter for more information.

• Eligibility to receive an Education and Culture Program Travel Grant;
• Discounted member rates when registering to attend the What Works Conference;
• Volunteer opportunities to become more involved with Partners of the Americas and the What Works Conference;
• Member-only website features, including the Partners of the Americas member directory search;
• Attendance at live webinars and workshops throughout the year;
• Eligibility for Partners of the Americas awards and recognition.
