We're happy to announce our Member Newsletter Name Contest, where your creativity can shape the future of Partners' communication. The chosen name will not only become a cornerstone of our community, but also earn you recognition in our next newsletter, and a discount on a future What Works Conference registration.

Information & Guidelines

 

What names are preferred?

  • We encourage you to submit names that are related to our mission and values, especially locally led development, volunteerism, and partnerships.
  • The name should be relatively short to fit in an email subject (two-to-three words).
  • It should be unique. We want our newsletter to have a title that is easily identifiable with Partners of the Americas.
  • Partners of the Americas is proud to support a diverse community that speaks many languages. Our Member Newsletter is distributed in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, so please consider linguistic diversity when submitting your name.
  • View past editions of the Member Newsletter for ideas.

 

How and when will the winner be chosen?

After the deadline ends on Saturday, April 6, voting will be open shortly afterwards to the member community. Members will be invited to cast their vote for their preferred name until Sunday, April 28. The winning submitter will be contacted directly and recognized in the newly named Member Newsletter scheduled for Saturday, May 18.


Guidelines

  • Each individual may submit up to three name ideas.
  • While we ask that you do not submit on behalf of Organizations and Higher Education Institutions, individuals associated with these memberships are welcome to submit.
  • Submissions must be appropriate and suitable for representing our community and brand. Names must be able to receive approval from leadership to be considered.
  • By submitting your ideas, you grant permission for Partners of the Americas to use your suggested names for communication purposes.
  • The event registration discount is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for a cash prize.
