Partners of the Americas is pleased to announce that with the support of our members, a limited number of conference accommodation grants in the form of hotel rooms will be available to support participation and attendance to those who may need financial support to attend the 2026 What Works Conference on-site in Panama City between January 28-31.
What does the Accommodation Grant Include?
The What Works Conference Accommodation Grant provides financial support to help individuals attend the conference by providing hotel accommodations that include breakfast from January 28 - February 1, 2026. The hotel is a 5-7 minute walk to the conference at Ciudad del Saber.
Hotels are double occupancy. You are welcome to apply with another person within the same application. If not, you may be assigned a roommate. While we aim to provide housing for as many applicants as possible, we understand some people may need their own room. If you have a reason to apply for a single room, you can share your reasoning in the application. You may be placed in the Ciudad del Saber dorm, which is directly on the conference's campus and does not serve breakfast.
To complete this application, be prepared to share how attending will benefit your work and community, as well as any financial need. Please note you can only apply for ONE grant.
All participants are expected to pay the registration fees, as well as airfare. Applying for a travel grant does not guarantee that you will receive a travel grant.
To be eligible to be considered for the grant, applicants must:
